We register all pets and animals.
We guarantee that your pet or animal can be registered with us.
Dedicated to:
1. Providing a place where all pets and animals can be registered.
2. Increasing knowledge about pets and animals and encouraging responsible ownership.
3. Increasing knowledge of how to prevent unwanted offspring and encouraging more responsible breeding of pets and animals.
4. Keeping accurate records of all animals registered by our organization. This is limited to the information provided by the owner/s.
5. Providing a registry for the development of new breeds of useful pets and animals. Unlike many organizations we encourage the development of new breeds.
If you have an animal or pet that has special qualities that you wish to develop into a new breed for future generations let us know you wish to start a new breed and what name and standards you want for the new breed. Your pet or animal may then be registered in the new breed registry as the founder of the new breed.
When there are at least 1,000 pets or animals that match the breed standards which breed true we will consider all future offspring as a fully developed new breed and they shall qualify for the Starbred Registry if both parents are fully registered. Irresponsible breeding will not be encouraged. No person shall be allowed to develop more than one new breed of the same species at the same time. Any individual who fails to develop a new breed that they have started will not be allowed to start any other new breeds of any kind for a minimum of ten years.
Our Fees:
To reduce our expenses we do not charge to register any animal when the application is purchased from us. This saves us on time and paperwork because we do not have people requesting unneccesary applications. This savings is passed on to you.
We also have annual memberships available to save people who register many pets or animals even more.
If you are registering any animal that has been surgically altered to prevent reproduction you can save an extra $2.00 even if you are not a member. To qualify for this savings you must have a vet or animal shelter certify the pet or animal has been altered including a full description of the pet or animal.
We prefer that when you send for the application that you include a letter stating that it is for a pet or animal that has been altered and subtract the $2.00 from the cost at that time. Then if you can't get a vet certification just include the $2.00 when you return the application.
If such an application does not include either the vet certification or the $2.00 it will not be processed.
We do not give refunds since you are purchasing the application. It is your responsibility to know where that application is. If for some reason you don't get the application you have paid for we will send a second however the first will then be voided in our records.
We do not believe the postal service will fail to deliver more than once!
So what does it cost:
MA = Membership Application
OT = Owner Transfer
RA = Registration Application
ROB = Record of Birth
ST = Supplementary Transfer
1. Limited Membership is currently $5.00 per year the membership allows you to save 10% on all other fees. Lifetime Membership is currently $50.00. Membership application (MA)is free.
2. Registration Application (RA) $15.00 (free registration with purchase of application)
3. If you have copied the RA or have hand written the information that we require. Registration is $15.00 for the first animal or pet you register with us. $14.00 if you already have a pet or animal registered with us. If you are a member you save an additional 10%!!!
4. Owner Transfer (OT) $5.00 for an immature pet or animal being transfered for the first time after full registration. $10.00 for an adult pet or animal regardless of past transfers. Maturity is based on what is normal for that species and breed. Record Of Birth (ROB) papers are not the same as (RA) but must be included with (RA) for full registration. Registration can be done by the breeder without a prior ROB application.(See ROB fees below)or by any person with valid (sent by us to the breeder) ROB signed by the breeder and us.) If you are a member you save 10%!!!
5. Supplementary transfers (ST)(changes owner more than once before being recorded by us) $5.00 for each supplementary transfer. If you are a member you save 10%!!!
6. Record of Birth Application (ROB) $10.00 or $2.00 for each offspring whichever is greater.
Example:
a. You have a horse that has one foal your cost is $10.00
b. You have a dog that has twelve puppies your cost is $24.00
We are different from many registries because any breeder of an animal may choose to have that animal registered at birth and avoid the ROB fees.
To do this you must
1. Have the parent animal registered with us.
2. Have physical and/or legal possesion of the offspring or a contract specifying that you will recieve at least one of the offspring when weaned.
3. Request both a ROB and RA or RA's. We will send the ROB free when notified of intent to register all offspring of an animal registered with us.
4. Include the ROB (for signature purposes) no fees.
5. You must send individual RA for each offspring to be registered.
6. Include the applicable fees for RA or RA's if not previously purchased from us.
Example
You breed your horse. She has her foal. You decide to register the foal immiediately. You request a ROB and a RA at the same time. You specify both are for the same animal. You do not send the $10.00 that you would normally send for the ROB. Instead you send the standard RA fee.
For a nonmember the fee would be $14.00 because at least one other animal (the parent) would be registered with us. As soon as we recieve and process the returned RA your foal would be a fully registered individual and you would recieve the registration certificate. You save $10.00. If you are a member you save 10% more than non members!!!
Example 2
You breed your dog she has 4 puppies. You decide to register them immiediately. You request a ROB and 4 RA's at the same time. You specify both are for the same litter. You do not send the $10.00 that you would normally send for the ROB. Instead you send the standard RA fees.
For a nonmember the fee would be $14.00 for each RA ($14.00 x 4 puppies total of $56.00) because at least one other animal (the parent) would be registered with us. As soon as we recieve and process the returned RA your puppies would then be a fully registered individuals and you would recieve the registration certificates. You save $10.00. If you are a member you save 10% more than non members!!!
7. Pedigrees three generation $40.00 $10.00 for each additional generation. We will only provide pedigrees for pets or animals that we have documented proof of ancestry on. If you wish for us to look up an animal and see if we can provide a pedigree we charge $5.00 this does not include providing any information other than how far back our documentation goes on one specific individual. If you are a member you save 10%!!!
8. Anyone found to have falsified information on an application will be banned from registering any further pets or animals until correct information has been provided. A penalty fine will also be determined by us based on what information was falsified. All animals registered to such an individual/s will have their registration revoked until fine is paid in full. All member benefits to such a member/s will be suspended until any fine is paid. Anyone found to have deliberately fasified information will be permenately banned from our registry. There are no membership benefits applied to fines.
9. All fees subject to change without notice although we will do our best to keep you updated of any changes.
